Cuttack: The Orissa High Court and the Cuttack Bench of Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) which went on summer vacation May 20 will reopen for proceedings June 17.
According to notifications issued by these two organisations, the holiday bench will hear the urgent cases during the summer vacation.
For the High Court, the matters will be heard by the holiday bench judges comprising of Justice Akshaya Kumar Rath, Justice Biswanath Rath and Justice D Dash May 22. Similarly, Justice Rath, Justice Dash and Justice Satrughana Pujahari will hear the urgent cases May 29 while Justice Sanju Panda, Justice Pramath Patnaik, Justice Sangam Kumar Sahoo will run the court June 4 and the cases will be heard by Justice Panda, Justice Patnaik and Justice Mishra June 11.
The holiday bench of the Court will hear cases at 11:00am May 22, 29, June 4 and 11 during one-month holiday, read a notification issued by the High Court registrar.
For the CAT, the holiday bench of judicial member SK Mishra will hear the cases May 30, June 6 and June 12.
The registry of the tribunal will receive applications of urgent nature only between 10.30 am and 1.00 pm during the vacation, the notification said.
