Talcher, Oct 25: Palasha Sahu was adjudged the ‘Best Shooter’ in the State Shooting Championships, which concluded Sunday at Talcher. He emerged the best with his overall performances.
In the .22 standing event, Soumya Ranjan Sahu took the top honours, Palasha stood second, while Amulya Ratna Bhutia finished third.

Double crown for JKA
Jajpur Kabaddi Association (JKA) emerged champions both in the men’s and the women’s categories of the Inter-District Kabaddi tournament, which concluded here Sunday.
In the men’s final, JKA beat JKA-B 11-8 to clinch the title. In the women’s category, JKA triumphed over Byasanagar 42-23 to take the top honours.
