Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, declared the results of Plus II Science examination Saturday. The overall pass percentage stood at 77.98 per cent, informed School & Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra.
While a total of 95,096 students had appeared for the exam, around 73,211 have passed; of which 19,561 have secured first division, 24,164 second division and 28,968 third division.
Reports stated while 42,886 boys passed Plus II Science, 30,325 girls cleared it this year. While the pass percentage for boys is 75.66, it is 78.88 for girls.
While Nayagarh district has recorded the highest number of pass percentage with 92.23 percent, Gajapati district recorded the lowest with just 43.43 per cent.
Students can check the results that will be made available on the websites www.chseodisha.nic.in and www.orissaresults.nic.in from today.
The results of Plus II Arts and Commerce examinations are likely to be declared by the end of this month, Minister Patra said.
