New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday took stock of the progress of ongoing projects in Odisha through a videoconferencing with officials and suggested to promote digital transactions.
The PM through interaction via Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation (PRAGATI), an ICT-based multi-modal platform, held his 26th meeting through the system and reviewed the progress in handling and resolution of grievances regarding post offices and railways. He reportedly stressed the importance of augmenting digital transactions in postal and rail networks, especially using the BHIM App.
He also reviewed the progress of nine infrastructure projects in the railway, road, petroleum and power sectors spreading in several states including Odisha besides discussing the pace of implementation of AMRUT scheme and Targeted Public Distribution System.
