Bhubaneswar: A distinguished group of poets, academicians, citizens, and former senior government officers visited Press Information Bureau (PIB) regional office, Friday for an interactive session with PIB ADG Akhil Kumar Mishra.
The meeting focused on the power of literature and creative expression in amplifying the reach of Central government initiatives.
Participants discussed how poetry, regional languages, and other forms of creative writing can play a crucial role in effectively communicating public welfare schemes to citizens and fostering social cohesion.

Mishra highlighted PIB’s commitment to disseminating authentic information and encouraged writers, scholars, and literary enthusiasts to contribute creatively in promoting government programmes.
He emphasised that literature could serve as a bridge between the government and the public, making developmental initiatives more relatable and impactful.
The session concluded with a mutual agreement to explore collaborations between literary communities and the government to enhance public awareness and participation in national schemes.
