Bhubaneswar: Odisha police Saturday felicitated honorary wildlife warden of Khurda district Subhendu Mallick for his exemplary role in the field of wildlife conservation.
In a case, a task force of Odisha Crime Branch rescued a pangolin and a baby pangolin and arrested four persons from Udala in Mayurbhnaj district.
Further investigation into the case led to the arrest of another six persons and recovery of half-a kilogram of tusk.
Subhendu played a key role and helped the police in busting this gang.
Subhendu received a token financial reward and a certificate.
