Bhadrak: People in Bhadrak are likely to face a tough time in availing healthcare May 25 as private clinics, nursing homes, -x-ray and ultrasound centres, pathological laboratories and private hospitals would remain closed that day due to a state-wide strike call.
This was stated by the private healthcare institutions’ association here Wednesday. The strike is in protest against restrictions being imposed on them vis-a-vis registration of private hospitals, their renewal, fire safety measure and medical waste management.
Private healthcare providers say they are being harassed by the government.
