Cuttack, Nov 27: Radha Gobinda Club scripted a convincing 2-0 win against Young Utkal Club in a match of the FAO First Division football League at the Barabati Stadium here Friday.
Radha Gobinda took control of the game from the start and foreign recruit Harrison opened the account in the 16th minute with a powerful kick from the right side of the box. After the breather, Anil Sindur doubled the tally in the 60th minute. Young Utkal had a few chances also, but their players failed to convert.
In another match, Mangala Club got walkover as OGP Club did not turn up.

Eves enter semis
Orissa entered the semifinals of the National School Games Girls’ football tournament after eking out a comfortable 2-0 victory over Goa in the quarterfinal at Andaman, Friday. The eves will now meet Maharashtra in the semifinal, Saturday.
Orissa eves enjoyed sessions of prolonged dominances in both the halves. Nikita Bisi and Sonia Soren scored a goal each for Orissa.
Mangaraj included
Pacer Alok Mangaraj has been included in place of opener Girija Rout as the only change in the 15-member Orissa squad for the Ranji tie against Rajasthan. Orissa Cricket Association (OCA) announced the team here Friday. The game will be played at Jaipur, December 1-4. The team will depart Saturday.
Hockey tourney
The prestigious Gold Cup hockey tournament will be played at Rourkela, November 29-December 6. The tournament will be played in two categories – professional and rural. In the professional segment 12 teams will participate, while in the rural category 40 sides will vie for the top honours.
