Patana: Following low pressure-induced incessant downpour that battered Keonjhar district for past few days, rainwater was seen flowing four feet above Kanajhari bridge Saturday morning.

According to reports, the Kanajhari river is in spate at Bhimapada on Patana-Kendeiposi road and connectivity from Patana to Keonjhar, Turumunga, Kendeiposi and Baunsuli areas has been completely snapped. Vehicular movement has been halted on both sides of the river bridge. Hundreds of vehicles were reportedly stranded here.
