New Delhi: Ravi Kishan has opened up about his warm and playful camaraderie with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, saying he deeply cherishes moments when the leader teases him, adding that if the actor-politician’s presence can bring a smile to the CM’s face, he considers it his greatest reward.

Ravi was in the National Capital to promote his upcoming Netflix series “Maamla Legal Hai” season 2. Asked what advice he would offer if he were to play a legal advisor to Yogi Adityanath.  “He’s our leader, our Chief Minister, he’s a saint and guides us, that’s his love towards me. I want him to tease me (main chahata hun woh chede.”

“I want that, on the same pretext, if he has the same face, to handle the 25 crore people, which was known as Uttar Pradesh. It is the most difficult area, the most difficult state. It is known for kidnapping. And the chief leader of that state is Yogi Maharajji. If he gets a smile on his face looking at me, then I am ready to take all that happiness and fun.”

Ravi said that he is sent by Lord Shiva to spread happiness, adding that every smile he brings is by divine grace, and he remains unfazed by praise or humiliation.

“Lord Shiva has sent me to earth to give happiness to all of you. If someone smiles at me, it is because of his grace that I have become a reason for laughter. I don’t care about what is happening to me, what humiliation or praise I am going through.”

Calling himself someone who carries pain like Lord Shiva, the actor-politician said his journey from a humble priest’s family has been one of silent suffering and resilience.

Ravi added, “I am like Lord Shiva. I carry my poison in my throat. I have been carrying my pain and suffering for many years. A priest’s son who has come out of a clay house must have suffered a lot. People always say they walk and come up in life. I have crawled, and I have reached here. When you come after crawling, you see wounds, blood, dirt, salt, and taunts. This is the body that you are bearing.”

Ravi concluded: “You feel that he is a politician, a superstar, a legal case, he is getting the best actor. There is a long story behind this. I am Ravi Kishan, and you are seeing me today. I was nobody. I was nothing. I am genuinely nobody.”
