Repair, modernisation work: ECoR cancels, reschedules trains

Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) Saturday announced cancellation of six Odisha-bound trains and rescheduling others on account of repair and modernisation work of tracks in areas through which they pass.

As per a notification issued by ECoR, it has decided to cancel, short-terminate and reschedule some of the trains from September 30 to October 12, mainly in the Sambalpur Division of the railway zone.

In a release, the ECoR said, ”Due to safety-related modernisation work in connection with doubling work between Arand, Bhimkhoj, Bagbahara and Komakhan stations in Raipur-Titlagarh Railway Section under the Sambalpur Division of East Coast Railway, it has been decided to cancel, short-terminate and re-schedule some of the trains from September 30 to October 12.”

 

CANCELLED

# Durg-Jagdalpur Express (18211) leaving Durg October 2, 4, 7, 9 and 11

# Jagdalpur-Durg Express (18212) leaving Jagdalpur on October 3, 5, 8, 10 and 12

# Durg-Visakhapatnam Passenger (58529) leaving Durg October 1 to 12

# Visakhapatnam-Durg Passenger (58530) leaving Visakhapatnam from September 30 to October 11

# Titlagarh-Raipur-Titlagarh Passenger (58217/58218) from October 1 to October 12

# Raipur-Junagarh Road-Raipur Passenger (58207/58208) from October 1 to 12.

#58528/58527 Visakhapatnam-Raipur-Visakhapatnam Passengers between Titlagarh and Raipur will remain cancelled from October 1 to October 12 from both directions.

 

 

PARTIALLY CANCELLED

#Visakhapatnam-Raipur Passenger (58528) leaving Visakhapatnam from October 1 to October 12 will be short-terminated at Titlagarh and will return and run as 58527 Raipur-Visakhapatnam Passenger from Titlagarh to Visakhapatnam.

 

RESCHEDULED

#Bilaspur-Tirupati Express (17481 ) leaving Bilaspur October 9 will be re-scheduled by 1 hour 30 minutes.

# Tirupati-Bilaspur Express (17482) leaving Tirupati September 30 and  October 7 will be re-scheduled by 1 hour.

#Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin Samata Express (12807) leaving Visakhapatnam October 3 and 9 will be re-scheduled by 1 hour.

# Puri-Sainagar Shirdi Express (18407) leaving Puri on October 5 will be re-scheduled by 2 hours 30 minutes.
