Kalahandi: Tension gripped Junagarh in this district after family members of a road accident victim staged a road blockade at national highway 26 Sunday night. The blockade put up for compensation affected traffic movement and hundreds of vehicles were stranded on the highway.
Sources said victim Hemanta Pujari was fatally hit by a Bolero. The driver fled the spot with the vehicle. The outraged family members took to the streets with the body and staged a blockade demanding compensation.
