Mumbai: Actor Shahrukh Khan, who arrived in Kolkata in connection with the IPL, met Trinamool Congress chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Tuesday.
Khan termed it courtesy call when the media questioned him. King Khan replied, ‘Didi is winner’ (Sister is the winner). Right there, Mamata said, “Shah Rukh is my brother, he will win IPL this time.” Then taking Mike from her hand, Shah Rukh thanked him and said, “Insha Allah, we all will win.”
It is notable that Shah Rukh Khan had also met Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata before this. He is also the Brand Ambassador of West Bengal. In the past year, during the International Calcutta Film Festival, he fervently appreciated Mamata Banerjee.
