BHUBANESWAR: A musical nite Mile Sur Mera Tumhara was organised by I-Tunes at Rabindra Mandap here Monday.
Music Director Laxmikant Pani inaugurated the event in presence of music teacher Chitaranjan Pani, vocalist Dev Dash and writer Itee Samanta.
The programme commenced with a song Mile Sur Mera Tumhara sung by all the singers participating at the event. It was followed by Vande Matram presented by Jasmine, who dedicated her performance to the Indian army. A duet was performed by Devi and Jasmeen on Ek haseena thi ek deewana tha from the movie Karz.
The concluding performance of the evening was also a duet performed by Surya and Sameer on Yamma Yamma from the movie Shaan.
Organiser Janhabi Deo told Orissa POST, “I-Tune has organised this event to promote budding singers and to provide a platform to the participants. This will encourage them to participate in national and international events.”
