Bhubaneswar: The government has developed an application ‘Road Accident Monitoring & Analysis System (RAMAS) to ensure monitoring of accidents and scientific analysis of the accident spots.
As per Section 135 of MV Act, every road accident involving fatalities or major injury should be scientifically investigated by a team comprising of representatives of police, transport and PWD departments.
The government has decided to set up control and command centre, through which calls will be received from public about accidents.
