Mumbai: Actress Taapsee Pannu is preparing hard for her role in the movie, Rashmi Rocket. Taapsee Pannu shared Sunday a few videos showing how intense exercises she has been practicing for stronger legs. However, that is not surprising knowing the perfectionist that Taapsee is.
“Just a few seconds before my ham (hamstring) became a dead ham,” Taapsee captioned one of the posts. In another ‘Instagram Story’, she is looking fully exhausted. “Please…bas hogya aaj ka (It’s enough for today),” she said in the clip.
The Akarsh Khurana directorial is about a runner from the Rann of Kutch, who fights for her identity and becomes an athlete. Actor Priyanshu Painyuli will be seen playing the role of Taapsee’s husband in the film.
Taapsee will also be seen in Haseen Dillruba and Shabaash Mithu. Incidentally Shabaash Mithu is a film on former captain of the Indian women’s cricket team Mithali Raj. Sources had earlier revealed that during the various phases of lockdown that India went through, Taapsee had hired a cricket coach. He was hired so that Taapsee could to some extent perfect the art of batting. In the film she did not want to look like someone who has never played cricket.
Taapsee has always been a fitness fanatic and she rarely misses a workout. She has said in the past that she enjoys working out.
