Kendrapara: In yet another incident of abuse by a teacher, one Binaya Bhushan Mahakud, a science teacher at Deulatara Patana Nodal Upper Primary School here, allegedly misbehaved with some girl students of Classes VI and VII.
The girls have alleged that the teacher has been using foul languages in class and, on several occasions, misbehaved with the students.
The girl students of the school have raised the issue with their parents recently and the latter took up the matter with the school authorities as well as the Block Education Officer of Rajkanika.
ABEO of Rajkanika, Ranjan Kumar Nayak and two other teachers conducted an inquiry into the issue and found the accused teacher guilty. DEO Sangram Sahoo said action would be taken against the teacher.
