New Delhi: India’s victory over England in the just-concluded third Test at the Motera stadium in Ahmedabad is the 22^nd time that a game has finished within two days. This is also the second time that India have defeated the opposition within two days, the first occasion being a Test against Afghanistan in Bangalore. The match began June 14, 2018 and ended the next day.

India’s 10-wicket win Thursday over England is a game that has been decided by the lowest number of overs bowled in a Test since 1935. The India-England game ended in 140.2 overs. The earlier record for the lowest number of overs in a decisive Test took place in 1946. In the match 145 overs were bowled as Australia defeated New Zealand by an innings and 103.
