Barang: The Nandankanan Zoological Park authorities Wednesday welcomed two more deer in its habitat brought from Raj Bhawan. The two spotted deer were kept in a separate cell of herbivore safari. In the first phase, the two deer were shifted to the zoo from the Governor’s house December 20. Sources said the translocation of the deer is necessitated following a rise in their population in the forest area of Raj Bhawan. The deer will be kept in the transit stay for some days and will be released into Chandaka forests, sources said.
