Bhubaneswar: Veteran actor and director Narayan Pati breathed his last during treatment at a private hospital in the City, Wednesday. He was admitted to the hospital Tuesday evening.
A National School of Drama (NSD) alumnus, Pati was celebrated for his versatility and depth in acting. His last film was Bou Ra Hatabaksha. Beginning his career in 1971, Pati featured in several films across different languages. His performances in Shantata! Court Chalu Aahe (1971), Lakhe Shiva Puji Paichhi Pua (1994), Gare Sindura Dhare Luha (2001), and Arjun (2005) received critical acclaim and established him as a respected figure in Indian theatre and cinema.
