Hyderabad: Brazilian model Izabelle Leite is all set to make her Telugu debut opposite Vijay Deverakonda in a film directed by Kranthi Madhav and produced by K.S. Ravi Kumar.
Talking about how she bagged the opportunity, Izabelle says, “I have been in India for seven years, and it has become my second home. I have done two Hindi films too. When director Kranthi Kumar came to me with the story, I thought it would be a good film for my south Indian debut. I have been to Hyderabad a few times to shoot for commercials, but it is for the first time that I am in the city to shoot for a Telugu film.”
The model-actress says that although she doesn’t speak Telugu, she has watched and thoroughly enjoyed films like Arjun Reddy and Baahubali.
“But for my debut, I am attending a workshop that includes working on my language skills,” she says, adding, “Adapting to a new culture has been very challenging. Staying away from home and doing all these things by myself is challenging, but I am enjoying it.”
Izabelle is expected to join the sets of the romantic entertainer next month.
