Sambalpur: Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, in collaboration with Utkal University (UU), will organise Amrit-Peedhi: Students Global Summit 2025 from December 18 to 20, focused on ‘Governance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its Ethics.’
The three-day global academic and youth leadership summit, supported by the Higher Education department, aims to bring together students, innovators, policymakers, academics, industry leaders, researchers, and international experts to deliberate on the ethical, societal, and governance challenges of AI.
Students have registered under three categories: Yuva Swadeshi Navachar Pradarshani, Voices of Future (Policy Debate), and Delegate Pass. The summit operates under an open-access model, offering free registration and participation.

VSSUT VC Dipak Kumar Sahoo said, “Amrit-Peedhi is envisioned as a youth-driven, policy-informing global platform that aligns technological innovation with ethics, responsibility, and national priorities such as ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Viksit Bharat @2047’.”
