Balasore: A woman and her nine-year-old baby were killed Tuesday when she set herself and the baby ablaze in their house in Gamakorna village under Simulia police station.
Police suspect that the woman set herself ablaze following a Woman, 9-year-old charred to death.
The deceased has been identified as Sanjulata Roul.
The charred bodies were recovered by the police and sent for postmortem.
Meanwhile, the police have detained the husband of the deceased for questioning in this connection.
