Patna: A 40-year-old woman was crushed to death after her saree got stuck in a rice mill machine at Mitha Sahi of Chakundapal panchayat in Keonjhar district Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Malli Naik, wife of Nuthu Naik.
According to reports, Malli had taken paddy to a local, Bithal Naik’s mill for grinding rice.
Accidentally, her saree got stuck and she was crushed into the machine. Villagers rescued her and admitted to the local community health centre with severe injuries while she breathed her last.
