xBph Bhubaneswar celebrates 10th anniv

Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of the 10th anniversary xBph Bhubaneswar members rode to the Barbara forest in Khorda and Nayagarh districts and visited the Maninag temple at Ranpur Tuesday.

xBph promotes safe and disciplined riding among its members. Generally, the activities of xBph include exploring places of historical and natural beauty in Odisha, thereby promoting tourism in the state.

Interacting with OrissaPOST rider Anupam Behera said, “Our group comprises riders aged 19 to 60 years. They are from all walks of life – students, businessmen, service holders etc. Although we participate in adventures, racing and stunts are prohibited in our group”.

Starting early, around 6 am from Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar, xBph riders rode towards Banpur and moved towards Maa Tarini Temple, Dhuanali, enjoying the idyllic countryside and the beautiful forested hill road. After a darshan at the temple, the group moved ahead on a kuccha road, toward a stream deep inside the forest.

Around 23 riders, including women, ,celebrated the anniversary ride. Riders came from Cuttack, Bhubaneshwar, Chandikhol, Bhadrak, Chowdwar and Balugoun. XBhp Bhubaneshwar is one of the oldest active riding groups in the state. The riders who participated were Abdul Quadir, Akash Sahu, Akashdeep Nayek, Anupam Behera, Ashesh Rathor, Debasis Mahapatra, Dipanjoy Naskar, Gourav Bagaria, Israfil Mohammed, Jaydev Khuntia, Jitendra Swain, Joti Prakash Behera, Khalique Baker, Manas Swain, Manish Mehta, Prabant Priyadarshan Palai, Rudra Mahapatra, Sajal Sheth, Sambit Kar, Shikhyata Chhatoi, Siddhant Mishra, Tapas Rana and Umesh Chandra Sahoo.
