New Delhi: Police Friday arrested a youth for allegedly misbehaving with a girl and filming obscene scenes on his mobile phone while she was freshening up and changing her dress in a bathroom inside a restaurant at Connaught place here.
According to sources, the girl had gone to a restaurant for having meals. Due to delay in serving of her food, she went inside a bathroom to freshen up and was changing her clothes. Taking advantage, the accused, who also was in the restaurant with his friends, slyly entered into the ladys’ bathroom and tried to film the girl through a hole in the bathroom door bolt.
The girl held him red-handed and alerted the restaurant staff who overpowered the youth and handed him over to police. He was thrashed black and blue before the police took him for interrogation.
Acting on a complaint by the victim, police registered a case and launched a probe. The phone of the accused was taken for verification.
“We have registered a case and have arrested the accused. Necessary steps will be taken after a probe,” police said.
