17th Home ‘n’ Décor kick-starts in City

Bhubaneswar: The 17th Home and Décor exhibition and the 17th India International Mega Trade Fair were inaugurated by Panchayati Raj and Law Minister Pratap Jena here Saturday.

Nine countries and 19 states are participating in this 11-day extravaganza. There are 250 stalls showcasing 50,000 unique products encompassing interior and home décor, lifestyle and food, health and beauty, handicrafts and handlooms, electronic and finance. The participating countries included Bangladesh, Dubai, Iran, Thailand, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Lebanon, Tunisia and India.

The states participating in the exhibition are Bihar, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Telengana, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Punjab, Haryana, Assam, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and the Host State Odisha.

Interacting with Orissa POST, Suprana Dutta Gupta, CEO of GS Marketing Associates said, “This fair is the ultimate destination for every home décor lover and the fair is an 11-day long day affair. From expert advice to detailed support one can avail all and we are organizing the fair from 2003. Luckily people from all walks of life have been coming here and this year too we are expecting a great response post COVID. Our partner state is Bihar and partner country is Bangladesh while focus is on countries like Afghanistan and Iran.”

Other guests who were present at the function were Ananta Narayan Jena, MLA Bhubaneswar Central, Susant Kumar Rout, MLA Bhubaneswar North, Ruma Dey, CGM, State bank of India, CREDAI Bhubaneswar foundation president Kantilal Patel, General secretary Umesh Patnaik, Bramhananda Mishra President, Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Prakash Shah, chairman of the organizing committee and Suprana Dutta Gupta, CEO, GS Marketing and Associates.

It may be noted here that the main object of the Home & Décor exhibition is to interact directly with customers and to understand their needs. The quest of quality homes of the customer ends here – a complete answer to all the requirements of the customers in relation to homes. The Home & Décor 2021 provides the best platform for the finance companies to impart knowledge of their finance schemes, making this an interesting proposition for the customer as it will convert their dreams to reality.

The fair observes all COVID guidelines and it’s open from 12 pm to 8 pm.
