Jagatsinghpur: A 14-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly raped by three persons, including a minor, police said Sunday.
The incident took place under the jurisdiction of Tirtol police station Friday, the police said, adding that two of the accused were arrested and the minor accused was apprehended Sunday.
Friday evening, the victim was on her way to a coaching centre on a bicycle, when the trio allegedly dragged her into a bamboo forest, gagged her and took turns on her, sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) of Tirtol Shiba Prasad Mallick said.
The accused had also threatened to kill the girl, if she talked about the incident to anybody, he added.
After returning home, the girl narrated her ordeal to her mother, who lodged a police complaint Saturday.
The three accused, all brick kiln workers, had confessed to their crime, the SDPO said, adding that the girl was sent for a medical examination.
