Jeypore: A youth died while two others were injured when the bike they were travelling on skidded off and crashed on the road near Jayantigiri at Jeypore in Koraput district late Sunday night.
While the deceased has been identified as Kiran Lal, the injured were identified as Imran Hial and Rakesh Mohanty.
According to reports, the accident took place when three youths were travelling to Jeypore from Borigumma on a two-wheeler at 12.30 am.
Kiran who was riding the vehicle lost control over the wheels following which it skidded off the road and crashed, killing him on the spot.
Imran and Rakesh who sustained critical injuries have been rescued by police and admitted to Jaypore hospital.
Police have also seized the body and sent it for post-mortem.
