Bhubaneswar: Odisha Monday registered 3,235 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total tally in the state to 2,12,609.
16 fresh fatalities pushed the death toll in the state to 813.
Out of the 3,235 new cases, 1,915 were reported from quarantine centres while 1,320 are local contacts.
District wise breakdown: Angul reported 179 new cases, Balasore 100, Bargarh 137, Bhadrak 67, Balangir 101, Boudh 42, Cuttck 318, Deogarh 12, Dhenkanal 69, Gajapati 31, Ganjam 28, Jagatsinghpur 86, Jajpur 110, Jharsuguda 71, Kalahandi 42, Kandhamal 62, Kendrapara 103, Keonjhar 86, Khurda 506, Koraput 59, Malkangiri 21, Mayurbhanj 118, Nabarangpur 124, Nayagarh 43, Nuapada 106, Puri 79, Rayagada 101, Sambalpur 120, Sonepur 65, Sundargarh 101 and state pool 148.
The total number of active cases in the state now stands at 38,172.
