Bhubaneswar: The monsoon session of the Odisha assembly is scheduled to commence September 22 and continue till October 3, officials said Tuesday.
The session will have eight official business days, according to the provisional calendar issued by the assembly secretariat.
Several issues are likely to feature in the upcoming session, including the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026, the flood situation in the state, school textbook errors and students’ union elections, the officials said.
The monsoon session of the state assembly has been delayed this year. In 2025, it took place from September 18-24.
