Cuttack, Feb 28: Asutosh Das (6/38) bowled brilliantly to put Cuttack-B in an advantageous position against Angul on day one of the two-day Group-B match in the Kalahandi Cup cricket tournament at the Bidanasi Ground here Sunday.
Put into bat first, Angul were bundled out for a paltry 102 against some penetrating bowling by Asutosh, who returned with a six wicket haul. Jamalabhanjan Mohapatra (3/11) also bowled well to support Asutosh. In reply Cuttack-B declared their first innings on 253/7 with Abinash Saha (54) and Santosh Sethi (50) hitting half centuries.

Saheed Sporting win
Saheed Sporting entered the semifinals of the Puspalata Garabadu Memorial Masters T-20 cricket tournament after beating Juvenile Club by 71 runs in a quarterfinal match at Bhubaneswar, Sunday.
Put into bat first, Saheed Sporting scored 164 for the loss of three wickets in the stipulated 20 overs with contributions from Abinash Rath (45), Bikash Mohanty (37) and Saroj Barik (35).
Juvenile could manage only 93 in 17.3 overs. Saroj Barik followed his useful batting with brilliant bowling and captured three wickets to bag the man of the match award.
