Bantala: Police detained the manager of a private bank’s Sankhapur branch under Bantala police limits in Angul district for allegedly committing a fraud of Rs 42 lakh Saturday.
The action was taken against Subham Ray, manager of Sankhapur branch of Federal Bank, after regional head of the bank, Nirojkanta Rout, lodged a complaint in Bantala police station.
Rout filed the FIR after an audit report indicated the fraud. A case was registered and investigation was on.
