Mumbai: Normally we have a mindset that a man or woman marries a person from the same field in which he works, but several actresses of the Hindi film industry chose to break the trend. While many actresses got married to the stars from the glam world only, there are many who chose their life partners from outside the fraternity.

Preity finally married an American who had nothing to do with the film industry and had not seen a single film of hers when they met. Preity Zinta got married to Gene Goodenough in a private wedding ceremony in Los Angeles in February 2016.
