Paralakhemundi: A hand-written note of deceased Paralakhemundi assistant conservator of forests (ACF) Soumyaranjan Mohapatra to his wife Bidyabharati Panda surfaced Friday. The note revealed by the ACF’s advocate, exposed the strained relationship between the two since their marriage. The advocate said that the note goes to show that Soumyaranjan was keen to maintain their marriage.
“Whatever you want, I will make arrangements for that. I will definitely fulfil that. I will resign from my job and be a servant to you. But, I want a small place at your feet,” the ACF wrote in the note February 22. “I don’t want your qualification …. I won’t ever tell you anything about this. I just need you as my wife and a good friend,” the note added.
The note also goes on to say that if by any manner Soumyaranjan becomes a hindrance to any of Bidyabharati’s plans, the latter can file a case of domestic violence against the former.
Meanwhile, Bidyabharati, who is also an accused in the alleged murder was interrogated late Thursday night at model police station in Paralakhmendi town.
