Keonjhar: The 12th Trust Board meeting of the District Mineral Foundation (DMF) in Keonjhar was held Saturday after a gap of 33 months.
District Collector and Board Chairman Vishal Singh presided over the meeting.
Among those present were DMF CEO Reena Pradhan, Lok Sabha MP Ananta Nayak, Rajya Sabha MP Sujit Kumar, MLAs Badri Narayan Patra, Abhimanyu Sethy, Sanatan Mahakud, Akhil Chandra Nayak and Fakir Mohan Nayak, Zilla Parishad CDO Kumar Nagabhusan, Keonjhar DFO Dhanaraj HD, senior departmental officials and other Trust Board members.
Officials did not release detailed information on whether new or old issues were taken up for discussion. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, though present in Keonjhar district, failed to attend the board meeting, a decision that has drawn criticism from residents.
The administration, however, said on social media platforms that proposals for the district’s development were discussed and adopted with the participation of all board members.
