Doctors are often considered to be another form of God and the saying does bear semblance in many cases.
One such case was seen in a flight from China to New York, where a doctor saved the life of another elderly passenger hours before landing. What’s astonishing is the fact that the doctor sucked urine from the man’s blocked bladder with nothing but a plastic tube and an empty wine bottle.
According to reports, they were travelling in China Southern Airways flight CZ3009, which left Guangzhou, southeast China Tuesday, and was six hours away from New York when the elderly person suffered unbearable pain.
To provide first aid to the patient, crew members asked the passengers whether a doctor was on board. After getting the information, a surgeon traveling on the flight, Doctor Zhang Hong, came forward to help the patient. When examined by Dr. Zhang, it was found that more than one liter of urine was filled in the patient’s bladder. It was necessary to get this urine out of his bladder.
With no medical supplies on board, Doctor Zhang decided to suck the urine out. He saved the man’s life by spending 37 minutes sucking urine from the man’s blocked bladder with nothing but a plastic tube and an empty wine bottle.
