Cuttack: As the twin cities gear up for Durga Puja celebrations, creative pandals and vibrant light decorations are drawing crowds. The Silver City’s ‘3D tunnel gate’ is winning hearts and going viral on social media.
The 3D tunnel at Chahata Square, decorated with vibrant lights by the Bidanasi Durga Puja Committee (BDPC), has become a major attraction. Constructed with an array of colourful decorative lights, the tunnel is drawing large crowds, including influencers and vloggers eager to capture its charm.
The committee had built a similar tunnel gate last year, which was a major draw for festival-goers and vloggers. This year, they have enhanced the decorations to make it even more captivating.

“This gate looks stunning, and the decoration is impressive. They’ve made it even better than last year, and we feel like visiting it again and again,” said a visitor.
BDPC vice president Bijay Kumar Sethi said, “We are happy that people are enjoying this decoration. Last year, we had also created a similar one. Keeping in mind the appreciation of the people, this year, we have modified it to 3D gate. We are privileged to see that people are gathering in large numbers to get a glimpse of the gate.
We have created Chandi Medha (Silver Tableau) this year with around ₹30 lakh budget which also covers the 3D tunnel gate. We want all the people to visit our pandal and seek blessings from the goddess.”
