Angul: At least five persons were critically injured and 30 others sustained injuries when a tourist bus carrying them collided head on with a truck near Banarpal in Angul district late Tuesday night.
According to reports, the bus ‘Manishiva’ was heading to Rourkela from Kendrapara carrying 48 persons.
The police and fire service personnel reached the spot and rescued the injured persons. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital.
The driver and helper of the bus fled the spot after the mishap.
