Koraput: Odisha police have recovered a huge quantity of explosives and other incriminating materials hidden in a dump during a combing operation along the state’s border with Andhra Pradesh, sources said Tuesday.
A source at the DGP office here said police have seized 50kg to 60kg of Codex wire, six tiffin boxes, two walkietalkies, some medicines, and other incriminating materials from Kusumput in Andhra Pradesh which is close to the border. Odisha police teams have been conducting anti-Naxal operations in Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh on a regular basis in association with cops belonging to the two neighbouring states, sources informed.
