Rourkela: A day after seven persons were held for Indian Premier League (IPL) betting here, the Steel Plant Site police conducted fresh raids Sunday and busted another IPL betting racket in the town.
Three persons were arrested and cash totaling Rs 9.4lakh was seized from their possession. A laptop, some mobile phones and a calculator were also seized. The three were Md Parvez Alam, Md Makasud Alam and Uttam Sahu of Nala Road.
The three had betted their money on three teams and were engaged in the act inside a house, ICC Upendra Kumar Pradhan said.
