Khariar: The Forest Department seized a leopard skin near Chatiaguda under Sinapali forest range in Nuapada district Wednesday. One person was arrested in the raid and later produced in court. Although the accused is a resident of the Sinapali area, his name has not been released by the department, citing possible interference with the investigation. The raid was carried out under the supervision of Assistant Conservator of Forests Mohammad Mustafa Saliha, with staff from Sinapali Forest participating. Khariar Divisional Forest Officer Ajij Khan said that further investigation is underway.
