Low cost electropathy boon for poor patients

Khaira: People fail to get relief from ailments after spending thousands of rupees at super-specialty hospitals but get cured by paying a few rupees here, claims Upendra Prasad Khatua, who has been treating people through electropathy.

Electropathy is a system of medicine by which a balance is maintained between the lymph and blood of a diseased person and it helps in the recovery of the patient.

At present, the patients those cannot afford expensive treatment now turns towards this system. “About 20 years back, people used to make mockery of electropathy. But the same people are now spreading the success story of this medicine system,” Khatua said.

The electropathic practitioner has opened a clinic at Dungura Bazaar here in Balasore district to offer low cost treatment facility to patients.

After completing a course in Bachelor of Electropathy and Surgery at a Delhi-based institute, Khatua had opened a clinic at Dungura. In the beginning, people didn’t trust him and there were a few takers. But he didn’t lose hope and continued with his treatment with conviction. Gradually, people started reposing faith in him and came for consultation.

There are instances when patients recovered through this system after failing to get relief at hospitals in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, claimed Khatua.

One such patient is Nirupama Senapati of Bhadrak.

“Most of my organs stopped working even after prolonged treatment at hospitals due to acute joint pain. Left with no option, I took a chance with electropathy. I am now fine after receiving treatment for six years. The cost of treatment is also very low,” said Nirupama.

Italian healer Dr Count Ceasar Mattei invented this unique method of treatment in 1865 after years of research, said Khatua.  He managed to prepare 38 medicines from the extracts of 114 plants to root out the causes of various diseases, added Khatua.

As this system of medicine has no side effects, the patients shouldn’t be scared of it. Chronic diseases like diabetes, hepatitis, joint pain, paralysis and even cancer can be cured by electropathy, said Khatua.

At present, this system of treatment is gaining popularity across the nation, he claimed.
