Kamakhyanagar: Two minor siblings drowned while taking bath in a pond at Kantiaputasahi village under Kamakhyanagar block in Dhenkanal district Monday.
The incident occurred at 11 am when the two had gone to take bath in a pond near the village. They were Sili Kamar (16) and his minor sister Parbati Kamar (14).
According to reports, Parbati slipped and fell into the water first. In a bid to save her, Sili also lost his life.
Some passers-by rushed them to the local community health center. However, doctors declared them brought dead upon arrival.
