Puri: Unidentified miscreants looted money from the donation box of Bimala temple inside Govardhan Peetha in Puri district Friday.
However, the exact amount looted is yet to be ascertained. Some reports say around Rs 50,000 was there in the box.
The matter came to the fore after the priests found the locks of the donation box broken Saturday morning. They immediately alerted the Sea Beach police.
