BHUBANESWAR: The all-round success of Odisha Fashion Villa Group at the finals of Junior Top Models at Kozhikode, Kerala, has pleasantly stunned the modeling fraternity of the state.
Contestant Sribali Das won the ‘Princess’ category and will attend the international pageant at Dubai whereas Amisha Patra aged 13 won the ‘Pre-teen’ category.
Interacting with Orissa Post, Patra said, “It’s amazing to find a place in the International finals and I hope to shine there too. What has really boosted my confidence is the overall triumph of Odisha Girls at Kerela in the national round.”
On similar lines, 11-year-old Srishti Das from St. Joesph School, Bhubaneswar, won ‘Best Talent’ in Pre Teen category. She has been chosen to represent India in Star Talent International -2019 world finals in Hong Kong. A student of DAV School K R Santoshini aged 16 won the Teen category. She too will represent India at Dubai International Pageant. Sarnaya Samantaray who became the runner up at the Pre Teen Category is selected for Hong Kong International Pageant.
These talented girls were trained by senior model Manisha Das, Suman Khillo and Kumudini who were part of the grooming team of Odisha Fashion Villa Group. Founder of the group Abhijit Mohanty said, “It’s a miracle as all the pageants from Odisha won their respective finals. They have also been selected to represent India at Dubai and Hong Kong for the international competition. Odia beauties have proved that they can shine at international competitions.
