Bhubaneswar: Odisha Wednesday reported 1,337 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the total tally in the state to 39,018.
Nine more fatalities pushed the COVID-19 death toll across the state to 225.
Out of the 1,337 new cases, 815 were reported from quarantine centres while 522 are local contacts.
District wise breakdown: Angul reported four new cases, Balasore 31, Bargarh: 14, Bhadrak 22, Balangir 11, Boudh reported one solitary case, Cuttack 168, Dhenkanal five, Gajapati 75, Ganjam 201, Jagatsinghpur 21, Jajpur 24, Jharsuguda ten, Kalahandi 13, Kandhamal 20, Kendrapada 37, Keonjhar 80, Khurda 196, Koraput 31, Malkangiri 38, Mayurbhanj 15, Nabarangpur 7, Nayagarh 60, Puri 73, Rayagada 22, Sambalpur 72, Sonepur three and Sundargarh 83.
The total number of active cases in the state now stands at 14,267.
