Koraput: Three members of a family died when the car in which they were travelling collided head-on with a tanker on NH 26 at Pungar village under Pottangi police limits in Odisha’s Koraput district Tuesday.
The deceased included a couple and their child, a minor girl. The identities of the deceased have not been ascertained yet.
The accident took place when the family was on its way from Baipariguda to Visakhapatnam. Pottangi police reached the spot and retrieved the bodies. The villagers have detained the tanker and its driver.
