Phulbani: A person was killed and three others critically injured after the tractor they were travelling overturned at Panasabanka near G Udayagiri in Kandhamal district Saturday afternoon.
While the deceased was identified as Papu Nayak of Rajakundu village in Ganjam district, the injured persons – Kali Nayak, Nilambar Nayak and Bibhu Prasad Nayak – were admitted to a nearby hospital.
According to reports, the driver Papu lost control over the wheels and the tractor overturned when it was heading towards G Udayagiri from Bhanjanagar. Papu died on the spot.
The police reached the spot and started an investigation.
