Deogarh: The vehicular movement between Sambalpur and Deogarh district was disrupted after a road caved in near Patnagarh bridge in Deogarh district Sunday.
Hundreds of vehicles were stranded on either side of the road for several hours. However, the authorities have started the repairing work to restore vehicular movement on the busy route.
Though the exact reason is yet to be identified, local residents attributed it to heavy downpour since Sunday afternoon.
